    Edward E. Nowels

    Services for Edward E. Nowels, 53, of 2138 Ingersoll Ave., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Richardson Funeral Home in Carlisle, with military graveside services at the Carlisle Cemetery.

    Mr. Nowels died of cancer Wednesday at Veterans Hospital after a five-month illness.

    Mr. Nowels was born in Des Moines and lived in Carlisle and in California before returning here about nine years ago. He was a retired service station attendant and a World War II veteran.

    Survivors are his wife, Cecilia ; three sons, . . . ; his stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Marsh of Carlisle; three sisters, Mrs. Ecil Turner, Mrs. Virginia James and Mrs. Patricia Reynolds, all of Carlisle; and three grandchildren.
