    Elva Ina Rowley, 78, of Lehigh, Iowa, died Thursday morning, December 12, 2002, at the Hamilton Hospital in Webster City. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2002, at the Christian Church in Lehigh Iowa. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery in Lehigh. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Carson Funeral Home in Dayton.

    Thomas Earl Rowley, Sr., age 69, was born to Earl J. Rowley and Elva Ina (Slawson) Rowley on December 5, 1948 in Fort Dodge, IA. He received his education at Central Webster Community School in Lehigh & Burnside, graduating in 1967.

    While there, he met Karen Phillips, and to this union three children were born. Tom & Karen divorced in 1977 where he then moved to Florida. He later moved to Plainview, TX and spent a few years farming in a "dry" county.

    Tom served in the United States Army from December 1, 1969 until he was honorably discharged as an E4 Specialist on January 29, 1975. He served his time as an MP in Fort Carson, CO. In the Army, Tom received the Code of Conduct medal and the National Defense Service medal. While living in Texas, Tom received his Associates in Applied Science degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology from Texas State Technical Institute in Amarillo, TX on February 25, 1991.

    In 2008, he moved back to Lehigh, IA, to live near his brothers, where he resided until his death on January 26, 2018. Tom said the last nine years were his best in his life as he spent the time getting to know his children, grandchildren and great-grandsons.

    He worked quite a few years in maintenance at the Fort Museum in Fort Dodge, IA, until his retirement.

    He is survived by his daughter, Tina (Joe) Lara and his sons, Thomas Rowley, Jr. and Jeffery Rowley; brothers, Don (Lisa) Rowley, Ron Rowley and Steve Rowley and sister Roberta (Christos) Joanides; nine grandchildren, Alishia Lara, Nicholas (Cherisa) Lara, Cassandra (Tyler) Gustin, Colton Rowley, Colby Rowley, Tyler Swainey, Matthew Rowley, Jaidyn Rowley, and Jordyn Rowley and two great-grandsons Peyden Lara and Andrew Lara. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews & their families who loved him very much.

    He was preceded in death by his parents Earl & Elva Rowley, his brother Joe Rowley & twin newborn grandsons.

    A memorial service celebrating Tom's life will be held at a later date this spring.

    Donald Edward Rowley, 67, of Lehigh, died peacefully surrounded by family on May 10, 2019, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge, IA.

    Don was born Aug. 3, 1951, in Fort Dodge to Earl and Elva (Slawson) Rowley. He attended Central Webster schools and graduated in 1969.

    He married Cheryl Puepke in 1969 and had two children from this union, Brian and Brenda. They later divorced and he married Lisa Bauers in 1998.

    Don worked several places during his life: Hormel's in Fort Dodge until the plant closed in 1982, at Central Webster-Dayton schools until 1990, and construction work until he retired a few years ago.

    In the mid-80s, Don went back to school to get his private pilot?s license in Webster City. He enjoyed his nightly phone calls with his daughter, Brenda, where he would tell stories of his crazy cats or old stories of his wolves and Rottweilers. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed watching old western movies. He loved listening to his grandson, Jake, play his guitar, mushroom hunting & looking for arrowheads with his granddaughter, Jamie. He had an extensive collection of Native American artifacts that he found on his land, finding his last scraper while mushroom hunting with Brian, three days before his death.

    Don is survived by his wife, Lisa; son Brian (Sondra) Rowley of Tampa, FL and daughter Brenda and her two children, Jamie and Jake Steinman of Northwood, IA; brothers Ron Rowley and Steve Rowley; sister Roberta (Christos) Joanides and many nieces, nephews and friends who loved him very much.

    He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Tom Rowley and Joe Rowley.

    A small family service will be held later this summer.

    LAKE CITY - Joseph Rowley, 56, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at his home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City with burial in Cottonwood Cemetery, Lake City. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City.

    Joseph Dale Rowley was born on July 3, 1956 at Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge to Earl and Elva (Slawson) Rowley. He graduated from high school in 1974 and on April 8, 1978 he was united in marriage to Susann Faro at their home in Stratford. Joseph worked for 26 years at Electrolux in Webster City and was currently attending DMACC in Carroll where he made the President's List.

    Joseph is survived by his wife Susann of Lake City, children Amie (Nick) Eberle, Randy (Gina) Rowley, Lynn (Alex) Pascual, and Amanda Rowley (Chris Friedson), 11 grandchildren, brothers Tom, Don, Ron, and Steve Rowley, sister Roberta (Chris) Joandies, many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews, as well as many friends and college professors and classmates, and honorable grandson, Brandon Potts. He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandson Bael.
