- BABY DIES SUDDENLY ON VACATION VISIT
Morris C. Chapin, 3, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Chapin of Flossmoor, Ill., did in the Sparrow hospital in Lansing Tuesday. He was taken ill while the family was visiting at the home of Mr. and mrs. Leonard Schnepp of Eaton Rapids. The boy was stricken with an attack of appendicitis while suffering from whooping cough and pnseumonia.
John Chapin is a former resident of Eaton. His wife is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Baumer of Eaton rapids. The boy is survived by his parents, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Baumer and Almon M. Chapin, now a resident of Chicago.
Funeral services were held in the Jewett chapel at Mason with the buried in Maple Grove Cemetery.
