	He served in the Revolutionary War as Captain of a Wethersfield Company, from Jan.-Mar 1776 at Boston. Hezekiah was in a company which turned out to face the British at New Haven in 1779. He served again in 1780 in the 6th Connecticut militia. Hezekiah's epitaph reads, "Death inevitable! Important!" [1]
