- Edward Darcy, Knt., of Dartford, Kent, third son, was born about 1543, and was matriculated Fellow-Commoner from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Michaelmas 1561, being then of Stamford, co. York. He was admitted at the Inner Temple in November 1561, and was a Member of Parliament for Truro in 1584. He was Knighted on 23 Apr 1603, and was granted the Danford priory for life in 1606. [1]
