- Thomas De Ros, Knt., 8th Lord Ros, younger son, was born in 26 Sep 1406. He was brother and heir of John de Ros, 7th Ros, and was aged fourteen a his brother's death. He was knighted by the King at Leicester on 19 May 1426 , served in France under the Duke of Bedford in 1427, and was summoned to Parliament in 1429. Thomas De Ros, Lord Ros, died 18 Aug 1430 'in the King's wars in France.' [1]
