She was born march 12, 1932 to Sara and harry Malo who preceded her in death. Survived by her husband of 60 years, Ronald "Bud" Slawson; children; Randy (Jan) Rigg of Evansville, IN, Rhonda (Doug) Sampson of Schererville, Susan (John) Hawkins of Highland, Peggy (Don) Kerns of Sturgis MI, Terry (Linda) Slawson of Cape Coral, FL, Jerry (Lisa) Slawson of Crown Point and Tina (Rick) Falkenstein of Sturgis, MI; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren; sister-in-laws; Eileen Malo of Tamps, Fl, Diane Malo of Dyer, IN; brother in laws; William Smiley of S.t. Petersburg, FL and Jack Slawson of Lansing, IL; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Luanne; and twin sister, Mary. A memorial service will be held in Ft. Myers on Florida on Wednesday, October 19, 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Published in The times on October 18, 2011 [1]
