      Mary Cross married Holland S. Bowers on 22 Oct 1861 in Rock county, Wisconsin. They moved to a farm in Olmsted county, Minnesota in the mid 1860's. Holland and Mary had two sons, Myron and Elmer.
      After the death of Holland, Mary moved to Alexandria, SD with her sons, where she worked as a dressmaker. She married Elias Crandel Burdick around 1890.
      In 1910 she lived with her son, Elmer, and his family in Douglas county, SD. Elias Burdick was a resident of the Soldiers Home in Hot Springs, SD, he later moved to St. Lawrence hospital in New York.
