      ---William Godfrey, aged 47 years, died at his home in Battle Creek Friday morning at 8:30 o'clock, death following a short illness of pneumonia. He was a former resident of Ceresco and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bessie Godfrey, three children, Mrs. Ruth Reed, Miss Mary Godfrey and George Godfrey of Battle Creek; one sister, Mrs. W.C. Phelps of Battle Creek and a grandson. Mr. Godfrey is well known in this vicinity. [1]
