  	On 30 June, 1763, he deeded to Joshua Clarke, of Hopkinton, land in Hopkinton, R.I. recorded 21 July, 1769. On 7 July 1770, he and his wife Mary joined the Westerly Church. On 12 August 1793, Phineas Clarke, of Hopkinton, and Mary, his wife, deeded to Thomas Clarke, of Newport, land at Hopkinto On 24 February 1794, the inventory of Phineas Clarke, deceased, was taken, and amounted to L431 4s. 2 1/2 d. Administratrix was mary Clarke, his widow. Capt. Elnathan Clarke was administrator on estate of Phineas Clarke, of Westerly, 18 September, 1795 (Westerly records, Vol. v, p. 335) He was in census of 1774, as of Westerly with 1 male over, 4 under, 2 females over and one under 16, and 1 Indian servant = 9.
