Notes |
- Excerpt from Mayflower Increasings: " Research has been ongoing to determine if he is the John TILLEY who came to New England. In his articles, "John Tilley, 1599-1636", Robert L. French suggests he came in the Anne in 1623 and was a member of John Oldham's group, moving on to Cape Anne in 1624, Naumkeag in 1626, Dorchester in 1630 and finally to Windsor CT. Although French presents ecellent circumstantial evidence, the final collaboraging piece of the puzzle is till missing. "
