  Notes	Excerpt from "Descendants of George Rowles" by Ann Moloney Lamb: Obit. Waupun newspaper April 1, 1941: "Early Resident of Waupun Dies. Mrs. Whitfield Lancaster Born in this city, Dies in London, Ontario. -Waupun, April 1- Word has been received in Waupun of the death of Mrs. Whitfield Lancater, 82, onSaturday at her home in London, Ontario, Canada. Funeral services were held in London on Monday. Margaret Rowells was born in Waupun on July 16, 1859, and was a teacher in what was known as the old West Ward School for a number of years. She was married to Whitfield Lancaster 54 years ago and they have resided in Canada ever since but until late years she visited in Waupun frequently. She was a sister of Mrs. Ellen Donovan of this city, recently deceased. Surviving are the widower and four children: Joseph of the Canadian R.A.F., and Mrs. W.J; Jones, Mrs. Harold Titus and Miss Katheryn Lancaster, all of Detroit. There is also a brother R.E. Rowells of Clovis, N.M. Miss Madge Donovan of Waupun and Gary Ind., visited the deceased last summer and a nephew and wife, Dr. and Mrs. L.T. Donovan of Waupun visited there the previous year."
