    • Abraham, one of the five Parkers, Abraham, James, Jacob, John and Joseph who came to America to expand the Parker family,which spread from MA. to the rest of the states as time went on. Abraham settled in Woburn and adventually settled in Chelmsford. He is the son of John Parker and Anna of Great Burstead,Essex,England.On 18 Nov 1644 Abraham married Rose Whitlock in Woburn. She is the daughter of John Whitlock and Sarah Vile.Most of their ten children were born in Woburn, although they were baptised in the Church in Chelmsford:

      It should be noted that Abraham and Rose are probably not interned here as this cemetery was not organized at their death but their family is interned here. They are laid to rest in a family plot close, that has yet to be discovered.

      The cemetery was founded in 1655, not 1690 - it's just that prior to 1690 they used fieldstone markers - which have all been incorporated into the surrounding wall. The cemetery is literally a stones throw from Abrahams land. It is therefore most likely that Abraham and Rose are buried here.
