- They removed in 1745 to Goshen. He served in he French and Indian Wars, and Oct. 31, 1760, the Colonial Assembly appointed him "lieutenant of the east company or train band in Goshen." He engaged in business, speculated largely in lands, and finally meeting with misfortune, died poor. [1]
