  	JOHN PATRICK '"PATRICK" MALONEY John Patrick "Pat" Maloney, age 88, of Crown Point, IN, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012. He i survived by his wife, Phyllis (nee Giordano): sons: Michael (Kathleen) Maloney of Highland, Tim Maloney of Valparaiso, Patrick Maloney of Crown Point, Kevin Maloney of Rosemont, IL and Scott (Pamela) Maloney of Crown Point; daughters; Cara (Robert) Bishop of Winnetka, IL and Tricia (Mark) Monaco of Wheaton,IL; 12 grandchildren; tow great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; sister, mary Jean Maloney of Houston, TX; and brother-in-law John "Jack" (Nick) Giordano of Crown Point. Preceded in death by parents: Gerald and Leona; and sister, Eileen Williams. Pat was a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church and belonged to the Serra Club of Northwest indiana. He retired from Sargent Electric after 20 years of service and was a member of the IBEW Local 697. He was a 2nd Lieutenant Navigator in The Army-Airforce in World War II. Pat was a member of American legion Post 20 Crown Point, the Crown Point Eagles, as well as the Crown Point Lions Club. He was also a volunteer at St. Anthony MedicalCenter Auxiliary. Pat was a graduate of Horace Mann High School and Purdue University, where he was a member of the John Purdue Club. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 11:00 am directly at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 101 !. Burrell Dr., Crown Point, IN with Father Patrick Maloney and Father James Wozniak concelebrating. There will be one hour of visitation at the Church from 10:00 to 11:00 am, prior to Mass. Services will conclude at the church with cremation to follow. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, march 14, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with a St. Anthony Auxiliary service at 4:30 p.m. at Geisen Funeral, Cremation and Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN. To honor his wife, Phyllis, memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association. [1]
