Visitation 10 a.m. Sunday and funeral service being held at 12 noon Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Dr. Max B. Hayden officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Those desiring may make contributions to the Whaley's House for Children or Burton Senior Activity Center. Joyce was born in Otter Lake, Michigan on February 14, 1926, the daughter of the late Warren and Edna (Tyler) Clemons. On October 20, 1945 she married William B. Fenner. She then married Richard P. Hughes on September 16, 1985. She was a member of Bristol Road Church of Christ, Burton Senior Activity Center and the Telephone Pioneers of America. Joyce was employed by Michigan Bell Telephone Company for 32 1/2 years, retiring in 1978. Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl J. Hilliker of Birch Run, MI and Marlene K. Klinert of Davison; step-son, Richard P. and wife Janet Hughes of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; step-daughter, Nancy and husband Richard Brandt of Davison; 7 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William B. Fenner, on February 22, 1983; second husband, Richard P. Hughes on May 23, 2000; brother, Homer J.
