      "Rev. Don M. Dickingson, 91, of 503 E. Michigan St., Farwell, died Monday, August 24 at the Clare Nursing Home. He was born April 2, 1890 in Genesee County. He married Alice A. Wright June 4, 1910 in Mayville. She died Nov. 16, 1975.
      Rev. Dickinson started pastoring in 1825 and was active for over 30 years as pre-Methodist pastor thru out Michigan. He was presented an award plaque from the East Michigan Conference this year and had attended 55 years of conference meetings.
      Survivors are 2 sons, Lyle Dickinson of Farwell and Donald Dickinson of Midland; 8 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.
      Funeral services are Thursday, August 27 at Wesleyan Church in Coleman with the Rev. Dale Woods. Burial is at Warren Township Cemetery of Coleman. Friends may call at the O'Laughlin Funeral Home in Coleman until noon Thursday, then at the Church from 1 p.m. until to service." [1]
