Services for Ralph R. Baker, 86, of El Cajon, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in El Cajon First Church of God. Entombment will be in Cypress View Mausoleum. He died Sunday in a hospital.
Mr. Baker, a native of West Branch, Mich., lived in the county 35 years and was a cabinetmaker for 23 years. He was a member of Veterans of World War I Barracks 573 and its chaplain for five years, and was a charter member of the church.
Survivors include his wife, Velma; two sons, Harold of Duluth, Minn., and William of Portland, Ore.; five daughters, LaWanda Johnson of Silver Bay, Mich., Bette Brown of Camp Verde, Ariz., Mary Jane Manauzzi of Orangevale, Calif., Rosalie Menalia of Seattle and Patricia Stines of Carthage, Mo.; a sister, Irene Vernam of Joseph, Ore.; 21 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.
