A retired employee of Shell Chemical
in Geismar, he died Friday, Jan. 29,
2010, at his home in St. Amant. He was
82, a native of Rambin and a U.S.
Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War
who received a Purple Heart Medal for
being wounded in the line of duty.
Visitation at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk St., Mansfield, on Monday, Feb. I, from 9 a.m. to II a.m. Burial at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery, Rambin, following visitation.
Survived by sons, Thomas Delmar Rambin and
Joseph Michael Rambin; a daughter; Barbara Rambin Villermarette; seven grandchildren and 17 great-
grandchildren. Also survived by brothers, Stanley "Buck" Rambin and Daniel Rambin; and sisters, Gloria Rambin Williams, Virginia
"Chena" Rambin Robbins and Margie Rambin Stities.
Preceded in death by his wife, Ann Kavanaugh Rambin; parents, and four brothers and sisters. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Hospice in Baton Rouge. [1]
