- George Hastings, K.B., of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, co. Leicester, 3rd Lord Hastings of Hastings, and Lord Hastings of Hungerford, P.C. to King Henry VIII is son and heir. he was summoned to Parliament from 17 Oct 1509. He was created Earl of Huntingdon on 8 Dec 1529, and about 1533 succeeded his mother as Lord Botreaux, Lord Hungerford and Lord Moleyns. In 1536 he was in command against the rebels in the rising called 'the Pilgrimage of Grace'. [1]
