  	Lelia Elizabeth Slosson, 85, of Afton, passed peacefully at Augusta Health on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. She was born on April 18, 1932, in Nelson County, daughter of the late Daniel George and Nellie Duncan Campbell. Also preceding her in death are her husband, James "Jimmy" Slosson; sister, Katherine Trent; and a grandson. Lelia loved spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, James F. "Chip" Slosson II, Pamela S. Harvey, and Patti S. Moon (Richard Jr.) all of Afton, and Penny Horner of Madison Heights; sisters, Bernell Sheffield (James) of Afton and Joan Young (Richard) of North Carolina; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Her service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2018, at McDow Funeral Home conducted by Pastor Billy Coffey. Burial will be private. There will be no formal receiving of friends.
