- OBITUARY: The Daily Herald Wausau-Merrill, WI, Thursday May 9, 1985: "Frank Barden, 90, 1511 Brown Street, Wausau, died Wednesday night at Wausau Hospital Center. He was born July 1, 1894, Wausau, son of Frank D. and Mary Barden....Mr. Barden was chief agent for the Internal Revenue Service for 31 years, retiring in 1964. He is a charter member of St. James Catholic Church in Wausau and was one of the first alter boys at the church. He is a member and past knight of the George Schreiber Council 1069 Knights of Columbus." Survived by 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
