    SERVICES IN MANNING FOR FORMER RESIDENT

    Funeral services were held in Maning Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Mildred Curtis Spencer, 84, of Sacramento, Calif.

    Mrs. Spencer, a former resident of Bayard and Manning had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Reba Conyer in Sacramento for several years.

    She was preceded in death by her first husband, Allie Curtis, her second husband Mr. Spencer, and a son Arthur.

    Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Conyers, and two sons, Merle of Montreal, Canada, and Dean of Virginia city, Va.

    Mr. and Mrs. Austin Curtis attended the Manning services. She was a sister-in-law of Austin. Merle and dean were Monday overnight guests in the Curtis home in Bayard.
