Hugh McKenzie, 58, a jiggerman a the Sterling China Co., died at his home, 413 Fifth St., Wellsville, at 7 p.m. Friday. He had suffered a heart ailment Wednesday night.

Mr. McKenzie was a member of the National Brotherhood of Operative Potters, the Wellsville Eagles Lodge and the East Liverpool Church of the Nazarene.

He is survived by his widow; five daughters, Miss Goldie McKenzie of Los Angeles, Mrs. Effie Standley of East Liverpool, Mrs. Lenora Urban of Sciotoville, O., Mrs. Irene Littleton of Wellsville, and Miss Eileen McKenzie at home; three sons, Frank Richard McKenzie, Jesse John McKenzie and Samuel McKenzie, all of East Liverpool.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Arner Home for Funerals here. Burial will be in the Calcutta United Presbyterian Cemetery. Friends may call a the funeral home tonight and Sunday.

Hugh married Emma Jane HELMS on 23 Apr 1928 in Columbiana, Ohio. Emma (daughter of Alexander HELMS and Rohannah Jane FOWLER) was born on 22 Feb 1899 in West Virginia; died on 2 Jul 1963; was buried in Calcutta United Presbyterian Cemetery, Calcutta, Columbiana Co., Ohio.
