2. | Resolved WATERMAN was born on 12 Mar 1703 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island (son of Ensign Resolved WATERMAN and Anne HARRIS); died on 15 Jul 1746 in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Notes:
According to the "Descendants of Roger Williams, bk 1": Resolved represented Smithfield in the General Assembly at various times in 1739, 1740 and 1741. In 1733, he built the Greenville Tavern. His will disposed of various farms and other real estate and several "Black servnts...negro woman...negro man..serant Prince." Of Resolved and Lydia's nine children, six died in childhood and four in the year 1744.
Resolved married Lydia MATHEWSON on 20 Sep 1722 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island. Lydia (daughter of John MATHEWSON and Deliverance MALAVERY) was born on 07 Jun 1701 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island; died before 1746. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
