George Neville, Knt., 4th Lord Bergavenny, second but first surviving son and heir by first marriage, was born at Raby Caste, Durham, and baptised at Staindrop, Durham, in 1435. He was summoned to Parliament from 15 Nov 1482 by writs directed 'Georgio Nevyle de Bergevenny chr.' He married for the first time to Margaret Fenne. They had five sons and two daughters.

Edward Neville, Knt., Lord Bergavenny, died 18 Oct 1476, widower of Elizabeth Beauchamp and eleventh and youngest son of Ralph Neville, 1st Earl of Westmorland, being ninth son b his second wife, Joan Beaufort, Dowager Lady Ferrers de Wemme, legitimised daughter of John of Lancaster. Duke of Lancast by Katherine (Roet) Swynford. He was summoned to Parliament as a Baron (Lord Bergavenny) from 5 Sep 1450, by writs directed 'Edwardo Nevil domino de Bergevenny militi'. Edward and Katherine had cohabited in the lifetime of his first wife, she being related to him in the third degree.

Edward married Elizabeth DE BEAUCHAMP before 18 Oct 1424. Elizabeth (daughter of Richard DE BEAUCHAMP and Isabel LE DESPENSER) was born on 16 Sep 1415 in Hanley Castle, Worchester, England; died on 18 Jun 1448; was buried in At the Carmelites, Coventry. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
