Mrs. Clara Estella Slawson, 83, of 227 Bocawood St., San Antonio, Tex., widow of Guy Alberto Slawson, formerly of Maryville, died at 2:30 p.m. Monday in a San Antonio hospital. She was born January 11, 1883 at McLouth, Kansas, a daughter of the late William and Asenath Cross McPherron. Survivors; son, Chaplain Merritt O, of San Antonio; two grandchildren, Lt. Jack M. Slawson of Killeen Army Base, Texas and Miss Christine Slawson of San Antonio.
