Notes from Connecticut Genealogy: William was one of the original settlers of Farmington, Connecticut.

Note from "History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield": this "Hickock" is NOT the Mr. William Hickock who had a lot in the original New Haven division of land, but who apparently never came over and was living in London at a considerably later date.

William Hickocks, was one of the original settlers of Farmington, Conn.; purchased home lot, and died soon after 1645; he married Elizabeth, who died 3 August 1655; she married (2) William Adams, died 18 July 1655....

2. Joseph HICKOCK was born about 1645 in Farmington, Hartford Co., Connecticut; died in 1687 in Woodbury, Litchfield, Connecticut, USA.
