Thomas Lewis, Gent., son of Andrew Lewis, Draper, ofShrewsbury, co. Salop, by Mary, daughter of Mr. William Herring, of Shrewsbury, vintner and draper, born Shrewsbury abt. 1590, vintner of Shrewsbury, emigrated by 28 June 1631, patentee of thirty-two square miles on the eastern bank of the Saco River in the Province of Maine granted to him and Capt. Richard Bonython by the Plymouth Company in 1629, joined by wife and three daughters in 1637; died before 1640.

Thomas married Elizabeth MARSHALL on 29 Aug 1618 in St. Chad's, Shrewbury. Elizabeth (daughter of Roger MARSHALL and Katherine MITTON) died on be8 Oct 1640. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Roger Marshall, Gent., draper ofShrewsbury, Merchant of the Staple of England, son of Richard Marshall, shearman of Shrewsbury, co. Salop, by Joan, daughter f Adam Benyon, of Shrewsbury. He was born about 1561, and was entered in Shrewsbury School in 1571, and was apprenticed to a draper in 1575. They had five children. He was admitted to the Drapers Company on 2 Mar 1597.
