Roger Ludlow,, third son, baptised at Dinton 7 Mar 1590, Balliol College, 1610; emigrated to America in the Winthrop Fleet 1630; Deputy-Governor of Massachusetts, 1634, and of Connecticut, returned to Great Britain in 1654, Commissioner in Dublin, Ireland; died there in 1666.

Roger married Mary COGAN on 18 Dec 1624. Mary was born about 1604; was buried on 3 Jun 1664 in Dublin, Ireland. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Name:
George Ludlow, Esq., of Hill Deverill, co. Wilts, Sheriff of Wiltshire, son of William Ludlow, of Hill Deverill, by Jane, daughter of Nicholas Moore. he was born, probably at the Manor of Hill Deverill, in or shortly before 1522 (aged 'forty' at time of his mother's Inq.p.m.) In 1565 he declared before a Herald of the College of Arms that his wife was "Edith, daughter of Sir Andrew Windsor, Knight Lord of Stanwell, co. Midd's". They had two sons and six daughters.

George married Edith WINDSOR before 26 Mar 1543. Edith (daughter of Sir Andrews WINDSOR, K.B. and Elizabeth BLOUNT) was born about 1515; died before 25 May 1580. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
