1. Elizabeth DE BURGH was born on 06 Jul 1332 in Carrickfergus Castle; died on 10 Dec 1363 in Dublin, Ireland; was buried in Clare Priory, Suffolk.

Name:
He was summoned to Parliament v.p. on 6 Feb 1298/9 by writ directed 'Henrico de Lancestre nepoti Regis', whereby, he may be held to have become Lord Lancaster. He took part in the siege of Carlaverock in July 1300. He was created Earl of Leicester on 29 Mar 1324, and restored as Earl of Lancaster between 1324 and 1326 succeeding his older brother Thomas. On the Queen's return to England with Roger de Mortimer in September 1326, he joined her party against King Edward II, which led to a general desertion of the King's cause. He was sent in pursuit and captured the King at Neath. He was appointed to take charge of the King, and was responsible for his custody at kenilworth. About 1330 he became blind. Upon the fall of Mortimer his close personal relations with the young King were renewed.

Henry married Maud DE CHAWORTH before 02 Mar 1296. Maud (daughter of Sir Patrick DE CHAWORTH, Knt. and Isabel DE BEAUCHAMP) was born about 1282 in Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire, Wales; died between 19 Feb 1317 and 03 Dec 1322; was buried in Priory, Mottisfont, Hampshire, England. Name:
Edmund of Lancaster 'Crouchback', is the fourth and youngest but second surviving son, Earl of Leicester, Derby and Lancaster. In consequence of this marriage he was styled Comte de Champagne et Brie in France. He was summoned to Parliament on 24 June 1295 by writ directed 'Edmundo comiti Lancastr.'

Edmund married Blanche Of ARTOIS between 27 Jul and 29 Oct 1276 in Paris. Blanche (daughter of Robert I Count Of ARTOIS and Matilda Of BRABANT) was born between 1245 and 1250 in Arras, France; died on 02 May 1302 in Paris, France. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
