    Bad Hurt in Runaway
Lady Thrown from Wagon and Severely Injured.
About six o'clock Friday afternoon Mrs. Robert W. Vian fell, or was thrown out of a wagon near the Advent Christian church, Pine and North Water streets, striking the cub, and cutting a long gash in the back of her head, besides spraining her left wrist.
The team started to run somewhere down the street near the Lewis hotel. She held on to the lines for a while, but something gave way and she fell out, striking on the curb it is said. She was picked up, senseless, and carried into Mrs. D. F. Jones' house, where she was cared for till a carriage came and took her to the hospital, and Drs. Sarles, Beebe and Beebe attended her. She was unconscious several hours, and from the nature of the hurt must have had a narrow escape from a fracture of the head.
