Clifford Beckwith services held at Providence

Last rites for Clifford Beckwith were held Friday, May 1 at 2 p.m. at the Providence Baptist Church.

Mr. Beckwith died April 29 at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital. He was 76 years old.

Officiating for the services was Rev. Norris Corley. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ida Slawson Beckwith, Carrollton; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Alldridge, Grenada; four brothers, John Beckwith, Belzoni: Buster Beckwith, Feetville, Texas; Claude Beckwith, Winona; and Charlie Beckwith, Carrollton.

Two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Parker, Jackson, and Mrs. Mary Decker, Carrollton; and two grandchildren.
