Memorial service for Ida M. Slawson, 88, of Austin will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Howell-Doran Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the San Saba City Cemetery.
She died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, in Austin.
She was born Oct. 6, 1919, in San Saba, the daughter of Jim and Nellie Miles Maultsby. She was married to James Slawson on Dec. 24, 1938, in San Saba. He died Dec. 31, 1991.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son and three sisters.
