Dorothy Roberta Keltner, 78, of Nevada, died Thursday, August 12, 2004 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Dorothy was born September 30, 1925 at Herndon, Iowa the daughter of Rufus and Josephine (Huntley) Bennink. She graduated from Panora High School in 1943. On June 10, 1950, Dorothy was united in marriage to Leonard Keltner in Des Moines, Iowa. Dorothy was a homemaker and loved cats.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard of Nevada, Iowa; a son, Leonard Lee Keltner of Colo, Iowa, a granddaughter, Laura Keltner; and three brothers: Carroll Bennink of Des Moines, Iowa, Rodney Bennink of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Norman Bennink of Florida.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers: Ronnie and Robert.

Funeral Services will be 1:30 pm Monday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Burial will be in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be 3:00 - 5:00 pm Sunday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada, Iowa.

Dorothy married Leonard H. KELTNER on 10 Jun 1950 in Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa. Leonard was born on 22 Apr 1925 in Linden, Dallas Co., Iowa; died on 17 Mar 2012 in Nevada, Story Co., Iowa ; was buried in Nevada Municipal Cemetery, Nevada, Story Co., Iowa. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

MOSES

Funeral services were held Momday, Dec. 20, from the Bagley United Methodist Church for Robert Moses, 75, lifetime Bagley area resident.

The Rev. Paul Donelson, minister of the church officiated. Vocalists were Mrs. Ivel Carroll and Mrs. Ray Corsaut. Mrs. Bill Stanley was organist.

Casket bearers were M.M. Hiddleson, Ronald Rinner, Delbert West, Bill Dawson, Lloyd Dowd and Charles Dowd. Interment was in Richland Township Cemetery, Guthrie county.

The Slininger Funeral Home of Jefferson was in charge of services.

Robert Moses was born Sept. 9, 1901 in Richland township, Guthrie County. He was the son of Elmer and Emma Moses.

Robert was reared in Richland township and lived most of his life near his place of birth. He farmed in the Bagley area his entire life. Robert lived and farmed on the Mallonee Farms for 71 years.

Robert married Josephine Huntley in 1922. They were the parents of two children Robert Jr. and Dorothy.

On May 9, 1939, Robert was united in marriage with Ruby Bennink in Maryville, MP. Robert adopted a son Rayfield.

Mr. Moses died Thursday, Dec. 16, in Jefferson. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Fanny Remele and Jean Moses; and a brother who died in the infancy.

Those who survive included his wife, Ruby; two sons, Robert Jr. of Jefferson and Rayfield of Bagley; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Dorothy) Kiltner of Nevada, IA; 24 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
