He received a deed of land in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, from his father 11 January. 1705; was admitted freeman of Portsmouth in the year 177, and died there 7 April, 1740. he may have resided in Newport, or North Kingstown, sometime between these dates. His wife was named "Barbara" in his will; her maiden name has not been ascertained.

2. Anne SLOCUM was born on 15 Oct 1711; died on 15 Sep 1763 in Little Compton, Newport County, Rhode Island; was buried in Gould Burial Ground.
