    Carol Louise Stevens, 57, 1801 16th St., Lawrenceville, died Monday, November 26, 1990 at 4 a.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.

    Arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home in Lawrenceville.

    Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday (tonight) 7-9 p.m.

    Memorials can be made to the Bridgeport Assembly of God Church.

    Mrs. Stevens was born in Richland County December 27, 1932, the daughter of Herschel and Hazel (Bare) Fritchley. She married Wilbur Stevens July 3, 1975. He lives in Lawrenceville.

    She was a homemaker and was affiliated with the Bridgeport Assembly of God Church.

    Surviving, in addition to her spouse, are one son, Dennis Sager, Vincennes, Ind.; one daughter, Karen Ulrich, Sumner; two step-daughters, Janice Gosnell, Lawrenceville, Joni Stevens, Newton; two sisters, Barbara Caudell, Claremont, Linda Scaggs, Sumner; three grandchildren and one step-grandson.

    She was preceded in death by her parents and one step-grandson.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Sumner. Surviving are his wife, Hazel Bare Fritchley, daughters, Mrs. Carl Stevens, Lawrenceville, Mrs. Linda Skaggs, Rt 1 Sumner, and Mrs. Barbara Caudell, Rt. 1, Claremont; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

She was born June 15, 1913, in Edwards county to William and Hannah (Lomas) Bare. She married Herschel Fritchley who died Aug. 11, 1977. She was retired from the International Shoe Factory in Olney, a member of the United Methodist Church in Sumner and United Methodist Women's Group. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Scaggs, Sumner, Carol Stevens, Lawrenceville and Barbara Caudell, Claremont; two brothers, Leonard Bare, Olney, and Ralph Bare , Parkersburg, two sisters, Iva Bare and Lorena Hicks, both of Olney; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
