He receipted Nov. 9, 1666, for his portion of his father's estate; deeded land in Mamaronack, Westchester County, Apr. 30, 1678 to Thomas HATFIELD. This land was assigned to him Feb. 8, 1675. He is named Dec. 23, 1680, together with his bro. Daniel, among the twenty-two persons to whom the Indian chief CATOONAH sold land which was designated the "hop Ground," now the Bedford section of Westchester County. both he and his bro. are of record as having paid their share of expense in acquiring this land. John settled in Bedford. Hos only known issue: Ruth, John, Richard.
