"The Wildbores in America": Benjamin Wilbore removed to Westerly, R.I., where as Benjamin Wilbor of Westerly, yeoman, he made his will March 19, 1772. it was proved April 20, 1772. He bequeathed: To son Christopher, silver spoons marked "B.W." To wife Ruth, money left to her by her first husband, Benonie Smith. to son John Wilbor, my farm in Westerly and one-half part of land I purchased of James Babcock. To son Joseph Wilbor, one-half of land I purchased of James Babcock. To son David Wilbor, the land I purchased of my son Joseph Wilbor. To grandchildren, Benjamin Coon, Jeremiah, Joseph and John Coon, and granddaughters, Sarah and Ann Coon. to daughter Judith Hall. On April 12, 1742, Benjamin and his wife Deborah sell land to William Wilbor of Little Compton, weaver, 96 acres of land in Westerly. The inventory of the estate of his wife Ruth was taken at Westerly, March 19, 1787/
