His will, 13 Oct. 1781, proved 22 Aug. 1785, named wife Jemima; sons David and Phineas (executors) and two youngest daughters Mary and Rebecca Waterbury, these four to have the residue after payment of legacies to: legal representatives of dec'd daughter Mary; legal representatives of dec'd daughter Ruth; daughter Mercy if living or her legal representatives if dead; and daughter Abigail. It is specified that dec'd daughter Sarah and daughter Prudence have had their portions in full. The second wife was dead by 5 Sept. 1796, when distribution of the pat of the realty which had been set to the widow for life was made to the heirs: sons David and Phinehas and daughters Mary Weed and Rebecca Brown.
