    Michael S. Kocsis
    Age 83. Passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at Edward Hospital in Naperville. Born in Lockport, IL. October 18, 1921 to the late Michael and Julia Kocsis. After his father's passing, he was raised by his late mother and step-father, Stephen Riba, and was a lifetime Joliet area resident. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in World War II. Mike retired from Unocal Refinery in Lemont after over 30 years of service. He was a member of American Legion Post #1080, Loyal order of the Moose, Lodge #300 and VFW Cantigny Post #367. Mike enjoyed bowling and loved to dance. He could be found at area dance clubs and also at St. Joe's Park on Sundays enjoying life, song and dance.
    Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lillian E. (nee Kosicek); his parents; grandson, Scott E. Loeffler in 1998; a brother, John Kocsis; and a sister, Julia Bortoli.
    Survived by his daughter, Michelle M. (William) Loeffler of Gainesville, FL.; his son, Brian M. (Deborah) Kocsis of Naperville. Loving grandfather of Carrie L. (William) Arnold, Todd (Jennifer Alderman M.D.) Loeffler; Kristin L., Drew A. and Emily M. Kocsis. Proud great grandpa of Ethan C. Arnold. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
    Funeral services for Michael S. Kocsis will be Saturday, July 23, 2005 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Ambrose Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society in his name, would be appreciated. Visitation Friday, 4-8 p.m. at:
