    GLEN H. FAGERSTROM
    (July 18, 1930- June 28, 2012)

    Glen H. Fagerstrom, age 81 of Sister Bay died on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Scandia Village Care Center after a 14 month courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. glen was born on July 18, 1930 in Sister Bay, WI to the late Waldemar and Hilda Fagerstrom in Sister Bay, WI. He served in the United States Navy from 1950-1954. he was a member of the Blue jackets Choir and was a korean War Veteran. he was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Rudy, Vincent and Eric; sisters, Ruth and Anna. He is survived by his loving wife Pate of 52 years; one son, Russell, (Special Friend Rita), Green Bay WI and one daughter, Lisa Mathaya, of Egan, MN; three grandchildren, Brittany Fagerstrom, Eric Fagerstrom and Scheri Mathaya, one bother Donal (Mary) Chicope, Mass. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Glen worked as an electrician in the Door County area for 35 years, retiring as Partner/Owner of Action Electric in December of 1990. Glen was an active member of First Baptist Church of Sister Bay all his life, serving in many capacities. Psalm 112 describes him well! He was an active member in the American Legion Post 527 for over 50 years. He enjoyed golfing with his "buddies" and riding with the Bicycle Club. He and Pat very much enjoyed the 14 years spent as Volunteers in the SOWERS-(~A'-ants-eB-Wheels Ever Ready) organization using his electrical skills for needy Christian missions, Lake Ellen Baptist Camp, as well as his volunteer service in "Comer Of the Past". Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 7 at First Baptist Church, Sister Bay. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm. The family would like to express their sincere thank you for all the loving care that Glen received while he was at Scandia Village. Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church, Sister Bay, Rawhide Boys Ranch or Scandia Village Capital Campaign.
