    Augustus, son of John Dunning, was a farmer, retired from it, lived in the house across from the Colonial Home and was destroyed a few years ago. He was Town Clerk, then became Custom Officer and moved to Rouses Point where they both died. They had 2 sons John (died young) and Harry, who became a druggist in Willsboro. After Augustus death, Mrs. Dunning's brother, Henry lived there until he died.
