William Decker was a son of John and Phoebe Decker. He was born Sept. 10, 1842, and died April 13, 1914, being 71 years, 7 months and 3 days old. Mr. Decker was married to Miss Priscilla Gates April 13, 1865. To this union was born one son, Andy, who departed from this life Nov. 12, 1898. There remains to mourn their loss, a wife, one brother, and one grandson. The funeral was held in the late home of the departed Wednesday morning with interment in the Gates Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Kiddo P. Simmons of Beallsville, conducted the services.
William married Priscilla GATES on 13 Apr 1865. Priscilla (daughter of Henry GATES and Louisa FRALEY) was born on 02 Jan 1846 in Sunbury Township, Monroe County, Ohio. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
